Diane M. Waryold is an Assistant Professor of Human
Development and Psychological Counseling at Appalachian State University.
Prior to this, she served as the Executive Director for The Center for
Academic Integrity and Program Administrator for The Kenan Institute for Ethics at
Duke University. She has worked as a judicial administrator for over ten years and
is proud to be a founding and charter
member of ASJA. Her involvement with ASJA includes President from
1995-96, Institute Director from 1997-1998 and faculty member at the
institute for many years. She was awarded The Donald D. Gehring
Award for sustained service to ASJA in 1993.

Dr. Waryold received a Bachelor of Science degree from
the State
University College at Cortland, NY, a Master's of Education degree
from the University of Florida, and a Doctorate in Educational Leadership from the
Florida State University.

When Diane is not working, she enjoys her two canine
companions who were rescued from the greyhound racing industry. She is also happiest
when she has time to enjoy her passion the great outdoors! This includes cycling,
