CAP: Who We Are

Founded in 1973, College Administration Publications (CAP) is one of
the pioneer providers of periodicals, monographs, and seminars on
critical law and policy issues in higher education.

The success of any organization depends upon the skills, insights,
and experience of those associated with it. CAP draws upon the work of
three nationally known teachers, writers, and practitioners who oversee
editorial content:

Donald D. Gehring,
Gary Pavela, and
D. Parker Young bring a wealth of
experience and scholarship to CAP publications and seminars. All three
are successful practitioners as well as recognized scholars and
teachers in the field of law and education. The special blend of
practical advice and thoughtful commentary they offer has been widely
appreciated by college and university administrators and educators
across the United States and Canada -- and is reflected in the
impressive array of national awards and commendations listed in their
biographies.

CAP's periodicals, monographs, and seminars are designed to help educators navigate an ever-growing flood of disconnected data and information to
see connections and gain practical insights often overlooked
elsewhere. Recognizing the growing importance of timeliness, CAP also
publishes the critically acclaimed telefaxed newsletter Synfax Weekly
Report; offers online case studies and commentaries, and provides a free
Electronic Bulletin service.

Because CAP is a professional organization -- designed to serve
professionals working in higher education -- we welcome suggestions and
comments on how we can better serve you.
